About this role
Wayve is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design next-generation autonomous driving compute platforms. You'll develop embedded electronics systems, architect ML compute platforms, and collaborate across teams to create mission-critical hardware that enables embodied AI for self-driving vehicles.
What you'll do
- Design and develop embedded electronics systems for autonomous driving applications
- Architect and implement compute platforms optimized for ML workloads
- Own board-level design, bring-up, validation, and debugging across hardware/software
- Develop high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and USB in automotive environments
- Lead schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and signal integrity analysis
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and autonomy teams on hardware optimization
