About this role
Fluidstack is seeking a Resident Electrical Engineer to own electrical systems for modular data centers from design release through production at their Phoenix manufacturing facility. You'll work directly on the factory floor, solving power distribution and controls integration challenges in real-time while closing the loop between production issues and design updates.
What you'll do
- Own electrical systems (power distribution, grounding, controls) for modular data centers from released drawings through rate production
- Work on the Phoenix manufacturing floor daily, identifying and dispositioning wiring and termination issues at the station
- Answer electrical RFIs same-day and engineer fixes into next design revision to prevent recurrence
- Conduct first-article reviews and electrical checkout as units come off the line with rigorous documentation
- Feed production learnings back to design team to update one-lines, panel schedules, and BOMs
- Ensure drawings remain the single source of truth and prevent tribal knowledge from bypassing configuration control
