By accessing or using InterviewChamp.AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

InterviewChamp.AI provides AI-powered interview assistance tools including:

Real-time AI-generated answer suggestions during interviews.
Live audio transcription via speech-to-text.
Resume parsing and AI-powered resume tailoring.
Post-interview performance scorecards.
Document and context management for interview preparation.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your account.
Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws.
Obtain consent from all parties before recording or transcribing any interview or conversation, as required by your local laws.
Not use the Service to misrepresent your qualifications or experience.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.
Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

InterviewChamp uses third-party AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate answer suggestions. These answers are:

Suggestions only — not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate.
Not professional advice — the Service does not provide legal, career, or professional counsel.
Your responsibility — you are solely responsible for what you say in interviews, regardless of AI suggestions.

6. Recording & Transcription

The Service offers real-time transcription of audio. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., one-party vs. two-party consent states, GDPR, etc.). InterviewChamp assumes no liability for unauthorized recording.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by InterviewChamp. Your uploaded content (resumes, documents) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for providing the Service.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which permanently removes all your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

InterviewChamp.AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Interview outcomes or job application results.
Inaccurate AI-generated answers or suggestions.
Data loss due to service interruptions or technical failures.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
