About this role

Fluidstack is seeking a Design Release Engineer to own the complete release process for modular data center products, from engineering through manufacturing. You'll manage configuration and change control for serialized hardware at scale, ensuring drawing accuracy, BOM integrity, and seamless coordination between design, supply chain, quality, and production teams.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end release process including drawings, BOMs, specs approval, and manufacturing handoff at correct revisions
  • Administer engineering change orders and notices across units at different build states, inventory, and supplier orders
  • Maintain BOM accuracy across engineering, manufacturing, and ERP/MES systems with discrepancy resolution
  • Gate release readiness through drawing validation, tolerance checks, procurement flagging, and DFM incorporation
  • Drive cross-functional communication on release schedules and change impacts to prevent stale revision builds
  • Reconcile as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained configurations to support field service and upgrades
