About this role

Skild AI seeks a technical Robotics Application Engineer to develop and deploy software bridging foundation models with real-world robotic systems. You'll integrate solutions into production, troubleshoot failures across hardware and software layers, and collaborate with ML and robotics teams to drive continuous improvements.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy robotic software including programming, configuration, and validation
  • Integrate and deploy robotic solutions into production environments
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug robotic applications across hardware, software, and model layers
  • Partner with ML and robotics engineers to identify deployment failures and translate field insights into system improvements
  • Analyze and optimize robot algorithms and system performance
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and monitoring tools for configuration and performance evaluation
