About this role
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Fall 2026 to design and develop embedded software for vehicle electronics. What you'll do
- Design and develop embedded software for ECUs

- Proficiency in C++
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, Go)
- Embedded Software Development experience
- Understanding of RTOS fundamentals
- Familiarity with embedded Linux

- Experience with interface protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
- Background in automotive systems
