About this role
Pylon is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Foundation team in Palo Alto, responsible for ensuring system reliability and developer productivity within a fast-scaling mortgage platform. Successful candidates will thrive in a challenging environment and be integral to maintaining high availability for critical transaction processes.
What you'll do
- Ensure systems remain highly available for mortgage transactions
- Enhance developer productivity through improved tooling and infrastructure
- Maintain code quality and mentor junior engineers
- Address and prevent system failures
- Provide and receive direct, instant feedback from peers
What they're looking for
- Experience with AWS
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Understanding of observability tools like Honeycomb
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
