Nuro is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for its AI Platform in Mountain View, California. Interns will collaborate with experts in machine learning and robotics, engaging in various teams such as Data Platform, Onboard Systems, and Simulation to develop solutions for autonomous driving technology.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with experts in machine learning and robotics
- Work on the Data Platform for data management and annotation
- Assist Onboard Systems team with integration of autonomy software
- Contribute to ML Infrastructure for machine learning development
- Develop and test simulation technologies for autonomous driving
- Support Technical Infrastructure for engineering workflows

- Experience in backend API design and application development
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming
- Understanding of machine learning and robotics frameworks
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with multithreading and software performance tuning
- Experience with different compute modalities (CPU, GPU, FPGA)
- Currently pursuing a degree in relevant fields
