About this role
ERGO NEXT is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help develop technology-driven solutions for small business insurance. The role involves close collaboration with various teams to enhance product features through rapid iteration and high-quality code deployment.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and front-end teams
- Take ownership of features from design to production
- Produce clean and testable backend code
- Participate in rapid iteration of product solutions
- Deploy code into production multiple times a day
- Ensure high levels of quality and test coverage

- 4+ years in Backend development
- Proficient in Java/Kotlin or similar languages
- Strong OOP knowledge
- Experience with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS
- Database management and SQL expertise
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability in diverse environments
