ERGO NEXT is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help develop technology-driven solutions for small business insurance. The role involves close collaboration with various teams to enhance product features through rapid iteration and high-quality code deployment.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and front-end teams
  • Take ownership of features from design to production
  • Produce clean and testable backend code
  • Participate in rapid iteration of product solutions
  • Deploy code into production multiple times a day
  • Ensure high levels of quality and test coverage

  • 4+ years in Backend development
  • Proficient in Java/Kotlin or similar languages
  • Strong OOP knowledge
  • Experience with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS
  • Database management and SQL expertise
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in diverse environments
