Neuralink is seeking a Software Engineer focused on CI/CD to enhance its infrastructure and support the rapid deployment of innovative technologies in neural interface systems. This role involves designing CI/CD platforms, managing build tools, and ensuring reliability across diverse hardware and software environments.

What you'll do

  • Design and scale the CI/CD platform for rapid, safe deployments
  • Manage software/firmware build tooling at scale
  • Operate and expand a mixed on-prem and cloud runner fleet
  • Maintain reproducible build and CI environments using Nix
  • Monitor CI health with metrics and dashboards
  • Reduce developer cycle time through efficient tooling and strategies

What they're looking for

  • Experience with Bazel or similar build systems
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience
  • GitLab CI or similar CI platform proficiency
  • Deep knowledge of UNIX systems, especially Linux and Mac
  • Familiarity with Nix for reproducibility
  • Proficiency in Rust and Python
  • Understanding of Terraform
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS
