About this role
MORSE Corp is in search of a Robotics Software Engineer to enhance their cutting-edge technology team focused on US National Security. The role requires expertise in embedded systems, navigation algorithms, and the development of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), from concept through testing.
What you'll do
- Architect systems with microcontrollers and define component roles
- Implement navigation algorithms in Rust and C++
- Analyze flight logs and debug GNC issues
- Develop LIDAR sensor drivers and manage flight test configurations
- Integrate control algorithms into PX4 ROS and write drivers
- Support development and testing of prototype vehicles

- Strong background in C++, Rust, and Python
- Experience with navigation algorithms and autonomy logic
- Low-level embedded programming skills
- Familiarity with PX4 flight controllers
- System architecture and component integration
- Passion for UAS development
