About this role
Mach Industries is seeking a Navigation Engineer to develop advanced navigation systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. The role focuses on creating sensor fusion algorithms and integrating various navigational aids to enhance vehicle positioning capabilities.
What you'll do
- Develop sensor fusion algorithms for UAV pose estimation
- Integrate GNSS and LEO constellation navigational aids
- Utilize optical techniques for improved pose estimation
- Characterize and integrate inertial sensors
- Build algorithm validation tools and infrastructure

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- 1+ years of experience in navigation solutions
- Knowledge of navigation sensors (IMU, GNSS)
- Proficiency in modern software tools (git, Jira)
- C++ experience for embedded algorithm implementation
- Understanding of navigation error covariance propagation
