Optical Test Engineer
About this role
Lumilens is seeking an Optical Test Engineer to validate photonic components and systems for next-generation AI computing infrastructure. You'll perform hands-on testing, develop test procedures, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality through NPI and volume production.
What you'll do
- Characterize and test fiber optic components, modules, and systems
- Analyze test results against performance specifications and quality standards
- Design and plan optical testing procedures for components and devices
- Generate detailed test reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for product issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on NPI and manufacturing ramp
