About this role

Lumilens seeks an Optical Test Engineer to validate photonics components and systems for AI and high-performance computing infrastructure. You'll perform characterization testing, analyze results for specification compliance, and support new product introduction and volume manufacturing alongside optical design and hardware teams.

What you'll do

  • Characterize and test fiber optic components, modules, and photonics systems
  • Analyze test results against performance specifications and quality standards
  • Design and conduct optical testing procedures on devices and systems
  • Generate comprehensive test reports and maintain detailed documentation
  • Troubleshoot product issues and support root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on NPI and manufacturing scale-up
