Full Stack Engineer, Observability
About this role
LaunchDarkly seeks a Full Stack Engineer to build enterprise-grade capabilities for their Observability product, focusing on Infrastructure-as-Code support and third-party integrations. You'll own end-to-end features that address critical gaps in enterprise adoption, from API design to UI implementation.
What you'll do
- Design and build full-stack features addressing enterprise Observability requirements
- Own integrations and infrastructure capabilities end-to-end across API, backend, and UI
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code support for dashboards, alerts, and configuration with version control and audit trails
- Create data pipelines and alert routing integrations connecting to tools like Jira, Linear, and PagerDuty
- Collaborate with product, design, solutions engineers, and customers to validate enterprise requirements
- Participate in on-call rotations and maintain production reliability

- Full-stack development with TypeScript/React and Go
- Integration and API design experience at scale
- Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Enterprise software requirements (compliance, RBAC, GitOps)
- Data pipeline and event ingestion experience
- Cross-functional collaboration and technical communication
- Observability tools knowledge (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- 5+ years production software engineering experience
