About this role
Kargo seeks a Network Security Engineer to design and maintain secure network infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and IoT environments for a logistics technology platform. The role encompasses architecture, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance support with a focus on securing edge devices and fleet operations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement secure network architectures for cloud, on-premise, and IoT/edge environments
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and remote access solutions
- Monitor network activity, investigate security events, and lead incident response and remediation
- Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security hardening standards
- Secure cloud infrastructure and partner with teams to embed security into deployments
- Implement zero-touch provisioning and secure mesh VPN solutions for edge hardware fleet management
