Trading Engineer - Execution
About this role
Join our execution team as a Trading Systems Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving critical real-time trading infrastructure. You'll balance operational support of live systems with engineering projects aimed at enhancing reliability, performance, and automation across hardware, networking, and application layers.
What you'll do
- Provide on-call support for critical execution systems through structured rotation schedules
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents involving trading, infrastructure, and exchange connectivity
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks to trading operations
- Build automation tools for system orchestration and operational efficiency
- Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues
- Enhance monitoring, observability, and resilience of core market connectivity
What they're looking for
- Linux systems administration and server management
- Network fundamentals including routing, TCP/UDP, multicast, and kernel bypass technology
- Python and Bash scripting
- Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering experience
- Low-latency systems troubleshooting and problem-solving
- MySQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases (preferred)
- Hardware and network connectivity expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
