About this role
Flexport seeks an Automation Engineer I to build integrations and automations that help customs clients onboard efficiently. You'll work with low-code tools and programming languages to create production-grade solutions for high-impact accounts, partnering closely with business and operations teams.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy production-grade integrations and automations using Retool, n8n, Python, and SQL
- Partner with Customs BD, operations, and business units to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Own rollout, monitoring, and iteration of built tools with focus on reliability and client impact
- Document solutions for ease of adoption and maintenance by other team members
- Develop API/EDI data flows and bespoke automations for large, complex accounts
