About this role
DLH seeks a Security Engineer in Bethesda, MD to support cloud architecture, data security, and compliance for the SCHARE platform. The role combines network administration, Azure cloud configuration, and federal cybersecurity compliance, including ATO preparation and technical control implementation.
What you'll do
- Configure network traffic rules and routing in Azure cloud environments
- Manage DNS, SSL certificates, and IP address management (IPAM/Infoblox)
- Maintain network documentation including subnets, VLANs, and VoIP infrastructure
- Execute PowerShell scripts for Active Directory reporting and management
- Troubleshoot and remediate complex security issues and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with external IT providers and lab staff on networking and storage requirements
