About this role
Join a cybersecurity startup to architect and build the platform layer for large-scale embedded systems, from bootloader through system software. You'll design software lifecycle management, image handling, and deploy observability infrastructure as part of a small, experienced team.
What you'll do
- Architect and implement bootloader and system software platform layer for embedded systems
- Design and manage software lifecycle processes including packaging, upgrades, and high availability
- Collaborate with hardware vendors on requirements and specifications
- Develop hardware validation and stress testing suites
- Deploy observability and metrics infrastructure
- Implement secure boot chains and SELinux policies
What they're looking for
- Linux kernel, drivers, and platform bring-up (5+ years)
- C, bash, and Python programming
- Kubernetes, Helm charts, Ansible, and cloud orchestration
- Bare-metal provisioning (DHCP, PXE, IPMI)
- Secure Boot and SELinux
- Embedded systems software lifecycle management
- Hardware validation and stress testing
- Rust programming (preferred)
