About this role
BillionToOne seeks an Automation Service Engineer to support laboratory operations for oncology diagnostics, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining Next Generation Sequencing equipment in a regulated environment. What you'll do
- Provide service support and troubleshooting for automated laboratory instrumentation and processes
- Perform maintenance coordination and root cause analysis on lab equipment
- Execute Installation, Operational, and Process Qualifications for new equipment
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure accurate regulatory documentation and compliance
- Coordinate with vendors on equipment issues and manage parts inventory
- Propose process improvements and represent automation teams in cross-functional meetings
