About this role
Autoscience Institute seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain backend systems supporting their autonomous AI research platform. You'll work on-site in San Mateo developing production infrastructure and collaborating with research teams to enhance their AI-driven scientific discovery capabilities.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain backend systems for 24/7 production environments
- Design and implement scalable software solutions
- Create and manage production infrastructure
- Collaborate with research teams to enhance automated research capabilities
- Write design documentation for software architecture
- Support deployment and operations of AI research systems
