About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Systems Engineering Tools & Traceability Engineer to build scalable backend platforms and AI workflows that connect requirements, modeling, validation, and test data for autonomous vehicle development. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure, systems engineering, and safety-critical development to support production-grade engineering processes across vehicle programs.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable internal tools and AI workflows for autonomous vehicle system engineering and validation
- Integrate data across requirements management, modeling, and validation tools to enable end-to-end traceability
- Build backend services and APIs to unify distributed engineering artifacts into a cohesive platform
- Own and evolve the core traceability data model with versioning, baselining, and change impact analysis
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure requirement coverage and validation progress
- Collaborate with systems engineering, safety, and autonomy teams to ensure tooling supports compliance
