About this role

Antares seeks a Mission Engineer to lead program delivery for advanced microreactor systems across commercial, defense, and space applications. You'll bridge systems engineering and business development, managing stakeholder relationships and translating customer needs into technical requirements while supporting contract acquisition and deployment.

What you'll do

  • Lead customer-facing programs with accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and contractual compliance
  • Establish requirements management connecting customer feedback to engineering design inputs
  • Draft technical proposals and support contract acquisition with DoD and DOE sponsors
  • Conduct market analysis and CONOPS research to ensure product readiness for deployments
  • Develop system architecture and interface specifications for energy applications
  • Drive engineering collaboration across disciplines and internal/external reviews
