About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Staff Robotics Software Engineer to lead the development of perception and planning systems for autonomous vehicles and multi-asset platforms. You'll own end-to-end technical delivery of vehicle autonomy capabilities, working across perception, sensor integration, motion planning, and simulation while leading cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver multi-year software roadmaps for autonomous vehicle perception and planning systems
  • Lead architecture, design, and implementation of safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems
  • Develop and integrate sensor suites, perception algorithms, and planning algorithms for autonomous platforms
  • Conduct testing and validation through simulation and real-world experiments with advanced data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers for system integration
  • Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and partner teams
