DevOps Engineer
About this role
Alarm.com is hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage and automate their hybrid infrastructure supporting data platforms, messaging systems, and applications. You'll work hands-on with Kubernetes, cloud environments, and enterprise technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake while collaborating across engineering and infrastructure teams.
What you'll do
- Support and automate enterprise data platforms and messaging infrastructure across on-premises, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
- Maintain reliability and performance of systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Redis, and relational databases
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and deployment automation
- Design and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, logging, and telemetry
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and participate in on-call incident response
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on security compliance and access management
