About this role

Safari AI seeks a Backend Developer to build and scale an ML-powered live streaming analytics platform using Python, Rust, and cloud infrastructure. You'll design real-time data processing services and contribute to greenfield projects in an early-stage startup applying computer vision AI to enterprise operations.

What you'll do

  • Build and scale ML data live streaming analytics platform using Python
  • Lead greenfield internal projects to extend real-time processing capabilities
  • Design and implement reliable backend services handling live data streams
  • Optimize and migrate services to Rust for improved performance
  • Work with Kafka/Pulsar/InfluxDB for data streaming and analytics
  • Deploy and manage services on AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
