impact.com, a leading commerce partnership marketing platform, seeks an Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Data Viz squad in Columbus, OH. You'll build dynamic data visualization and reporting features using React and Java/Spring, serving thousands of global brands. This role combines frontend development with backend API work while mastering test-driven development and enterprise platform architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and develop interactive data visualization components and reporting features using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Build and maintain scalable backend APIs and services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate/JPA for complex data queries
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to translate data into user-friendly interfaces
- Write high-quality, testable code following test-driven development practices with comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across the full application stack including client-side and database queries
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of codebase quality
