About this role
Ibility, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, seeks an expert Instructional Systems Design Engineer to lead curriculum development and training delivery for government clients. This role combines strategic consulting, team management, and hands-on design expertise to create effective, evidence-based learning solutions aligned with organizational and program objectives.
What you'll do
- Lead instructional systems design processes and provide expert mentorship to ISD teams on complex government projects
- Manage a team of Instructional Designers to develop and deliver multi-modal training solutions (ILT, eLearning, virtual, blended)
- Conduct training needs assessments, gap analyses, and develop curriculum maps ensuring alignment with learning science best practices
- Serve as quality reviewer for all ISD deliverables, verifying compliance with contract requirements, Section 508 accessibility, and adult learning theory
- Evaluate instructional strategies and delivery modalities while supporting stakeholder feedback collection for continuous improvement
- Communicate instructional design concepts to diverse audiences including program leadership and executive stakeholders
