About this role
Hermeus seeks a Structures Manufacturing Engineer to design tooling and fixtures that enable rapid prototyping of high-speed aircraft structures. You'll work hands-on in fast-paced design-build-test cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manufacture flight-critical assemblies for defense aviation applications.
What you'll do
- Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment for structural assemblies
- Partner with structures, test, and manufacturing teams to translate designs into testable hardware
- Execute manufacturing processes while driving iterative improvements in real time
- Support rapid prototyping cycles with engineering judgment and creative problem-solving
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges on the production floor
- Contribute to early-stage design-build-test validation efforts
