Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Chain
About this role
Hadrian seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for Supply Chain to optimize supplier performance in special processes, particularly surface finishing and coating. You'll develop supplier capabilities, manage technical relationships, and drive process improvements to support rapid scaling of aerospace and defense manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage supplier development systems, focusing on special process commodities like surface finishing and coating
- Create supplier capability and technology road maps in collaboration with commodity managers and supplier leadership
- Assess supplier production capabilities, facilities, and workforce for approval and commodity strategy inclusion
- Act as technical liaison between suppliers and internal teams, owning DFM processes and communicating capability risks
- Monitor and expand supplier capacity to support Hadrian's demand forecasts and long-term growth
- Own APQP process execution and PPAP coordination with quality teams
