About this role
Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to advance their unmanned aircraft systems. This hands-on role includes developing HITL environments, integrating avionics, and troubleshooting systems within a collaborative team focused on next-generation flight technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain HITL rigs
- Integrate avionics and sensors into test environments
- Lead feature validation and signal verification activities
- Design wiring harnesses and signal architectures
- Execute integration test procedures
- Support flight test campaigns
What they're looking for
- Experience in aerospace integration/test
- Knowledge of embedded systems and avionics
- MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Communication protocol validation
- Troubleshooting integration issues
- HIL/SIL experience (preferred)
- UAV/autopilot integration (preferred)
- Configuration management (preferred)
