About this role

Join an early-stage consumer AI startup as a founding engineer to build real-time conversational experiences. You'll work directly with the founder across the full stack, owning technically ambitious features involving AI, video generation, and audio synthesis in a fast-moving team of under 10 people.

What you'll do

  • Build full-stack features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure in collaboration with founders and designers
  • Design and implement systems for memory, retrieval, proactivity, and AI responsiveness
  • Integrate and advance real-time video generation and audio synthesis models
  • Set engineering quality standards and actively participate in recruiting technical talent
  • Use the product extensively to ensure strong user experience and quality outcomes
