Xometry is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to enhance quality metrics and improve partner relationships in a fast-paced environment. The role involves ensuring high product quality through supplier audits, corrective actions, and collaborative problem-solving with various engineering and management teams.
What you'll do
- Perform inspections at partner facilities
- Conduct audits and onboarding for partners
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Monitor emerging quality issues and projects
- Facilitate quality workshops with partners
- Utilize data analytics to improve supplier performance
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years in engineering or quality role
- 5+ years in supplier-facing roles
- Quality Assurance experience
- Knowledge of DFM/DFQ and APQP
- Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Project management and time management skills
