Xometry is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to enhance product quality through supplier collaboration and audits in a dynamic work environment. The role focuses on leading quality initiatives, conducting inspections, and utilizing data analytics to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
What you'll do
- Conduct onsite inspections and audits at partner facilities
- Manage Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Analyze partner product trends to address systemic issues
- Facilitate cross-functional optimization workshops
- Support Partner Onboarding and quality-related escalations
- Utilize data analytics to enhance performance
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in engineering or quality roles
- 5+ years in supplier-facing positions
- Strong Quality Assurance expertise
- Knowledge of APQP and DFM/DFQ
- Project management capabilities
- Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to read technical drawings
