Waymo is seeking an ASIC Design Verification Engineer to join their Compute Team, responsible for developing a high-performance compute platform for autonomous vehicles. The role involves translating hardware specifications, creating verification plans, and enhancing test environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement scalable verification plans based on hardware specifications
- Create testbenches and reference models to validate functionality and performance
- Enhance verification environments and contribute to reusable methodologies
- Integrate and verify third-party Verification IP to expedite development
- Analyze coverage metrics to ensure design readiness and completeness
- Advocate for and establish verification best practices
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of experience with UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches
- Track record with constrained-random generation and SVA
- Deep understanding of digital logic and hardware/software debugging
- Proficient in Python for automation and data analysis
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical skills for root-cause analysis
