Waymo is seeking an ASIC Design Verification Engineer to join their Compute Team, responsible for developing a high-performance compute platform for autonomous vehicles. The role involves translating hardware specifications, creating verification plans, and enhancing test environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement scalable verification plans based on hardware specifications
  • Create testbenches and reference models to validate functionality and performance
  • Enhance verification environments and contribute to reusable methodologies
  • Integrate and verify third-party Verification IP to expedite development
  • Analyze coverage metrics to ensure design readiness and completeness
  • Advocate for and establish verification best practices

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience with UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches
  • Track record with constrained-random generation and SVA
  • Deep understanding of digital logic and hardware/software debugging
  • Proficient in Python for automation and data analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical skills for root-cause analysis
