About this role
Supabase is looking for an Anti Abuse Engineer to enhance their security measures against various forms of abuse on their platform. This fully remote role involves monitoring abuse signals, triaging incidents, and developing automated detection logic while collaborating closely with security teams to protect the platform.
What you'll do
- Monitor inbound abuse signals and reports
- Triage abuse cases and classify actor types
- Lead incident response efforts and ensure communication
- Conduct post-incident reviews and document findings
- Automate triage and response actions to improve efficiency
- Maintain and enhance the anti-abuse operations toolchain
What they're looking for
- 3+ years in security operations or trust & safety
- Experience with detection logic and rule writing
- Strong SQL and Python scripting skills
- Ability to manage incident responses effectively
- Familiarity with cloud-native security practices
- Analytical thinking for pattern recognition
