SpaceX is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer for the Starlink program, responsible for overseeing the activation and optimization of an ultrapure water treatment facility to support high-volume manufacturing. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective operations and adherence to regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Oversee construction and operations of ultrapure water treatment facility
- Design and implement mechanical and fluid systems
- Analyze lab data and operator feedback for plant operations
- Develop and improve operational procedures and methods
- Build strong partnerships with engineering and regulatory teams
- Identify continuous improvement projects
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
- 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in wastewater treatment (preferred)
- Understanding of process parameters
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and P&IDs
- Familiarity with mechanical systems maintenance
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Experience transitioning R&D to production
