About this role
SpaceX is seeking an Optical Test Engineer to design, build, and operate optical metrology systems for validating space laser systems used in Starlink satellite operations. This role involves automation of testing processes and close collaboration with design teams to ensure hardware meets specifications.
What you'll do
- Design and operate optical metrology and test systems
- Use test data for troubleshooting optical flight hardware issues
- Automate optical testing procedures and data collection

- Develop and maintain test plans and specifications
