What you'll do

  • Collaborate with analysts and the design team on tower design and manufacturing processes
  • Develop production procedures and oversee the transition from development to production
  • Coordinate testing of systems and tooling to meet deadlines
  • Execute manufacturability enhancements for production efficiency
  • Create CAD models and technical documentation for flight components
  • Serve as the design engineering lead for parts and assemblies

  • Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 1+ years of hands-on mechanical systems experience
  • Manufacturing design experience
  • Knowledge of GD&T concepts
  • Familiarity with fluid dynamics and modeling software
  • Experience in large steel structures construction
  • Ability to design pressurized systems
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
