SpaceX is seeking an Equipment Reliability Engineer to enhance the performance and reliability of the machinery used in Starship production. This role involves developing maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analyses, and integrating advanced monitoring technologies to improve production efficiencies.
What you'll do
- Create and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability
- Develop reliability programs including preventive maintenance tasks
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical equipment failures
- Lead process improvements and equipment overhauls
- Monitor and integrate equipment into IoT for real-time performance tracking
- Support onboarding and commissioning of new equipment

- Degree in engineering
- 1+ years' experience in manufacturing or reliability
- Knowledge of control systems and industrial automation
- Experience with SQL and PowerBI
- Ability to read technical schematics
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing equipment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
