About this role
SpaceX is looking for a Construction Project Engineer to play a vital role in the development of new facilities for the Starship program as it enters a significant growth phase. The engineer will manage construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while supporting the broader mission of enabling human exploration of space.
What you'll do
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery
- Manage aspects of multi-discipline construction projects both in the field and office
- Perform project control tasks such as scheduling and cost management
- Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal teams
- Resolve design and construction issues in real time
- Coordinate necessary city and governmental approvals

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
- 2+ years of construction experience
- Strong project management skills
- Analytical problem-solving abilities
- Experience in multi-discipline construction environments
- Ability to work at elevated heights and outdoors
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
