About this role
Skydio is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on sustaining and validating product performance within complex ecosystems. The candidate will troubleshoot system-level issues, enhance product reliability, and perform electrical failure analyses to support the company’s drone technology initiatives.
What you'll do
- Lead analysis of complex system-level problems
- Validate components and subsystems for quality enhancement
- Conduct electrical failure analysis on customer returns
- Implement design changes for improved reliability and manufacturability
- Drive changes in electrical components and PCBs
- Collect and analyze field data
What they're looking for
- Electrical validation and test experience
- Root cause analysis of PCBA and system failures
- Analog and digital circuit design knowledge
- Proficient in schematic design
- Familiar with lab instruments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with high-speed camera interfaces
- Willingness to obtain FAA Part 107 certification
