Skydio is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on sustaining and validating product performance within complex ecosystems. The candidate will troubleshoot system-level issues, enhance product reliability, and perform electrical failure analyses to support the company’s drone technology initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Lead analysis of complex system-level problems
  • Validate components and subsystems for quality enhancement
  • Conduct electrical failure analysis on customer returns
  • Implement design changes for improved reliability and manufacturability
  • Drive changes in electrical components and PCBs
  • Collect and analyze field data

  • Electrical validation and test experience
  • Root cause analysis of PCBA and system failures
  • Analog and digital circuit design knowledge
  • Proficient in schematic design
  • Familiar with lab instruments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with high-speed camera interfaces
  • Willingness to obtain FAA Part 107 certification
