About this role
Silvus Technologies is looking for an FPGA Design Engineer to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves developing and implementing signal processing algorithms for MIMO wireless systems and supporting FPGA-based design efforts.
What you'll do
- Architect digital designs for wireless communication projects
- Design fixed-point signal processing blocks
- Develop RTL coding, simulations, and test benches
- Perform FPGA synthesis and ensure timing closure
- Conduct hardware verification and troubleshooting
- Support RF and Software Engineering teams
What they're looking for
- Experience in FPGA design with a BS in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Expertise with high-utilization FPGA designs
- Familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado IDE
- Knowledge of TCL or Python
- Experience with digital signal processing
- Proficient in MATLAB
- Strong understanding of communication systems
