About this role
Prospera AI is seeking an AI Backend Engineer to enhance their AI orchestration platform, Sophie, and to help transition it from a prototype to a scalable enterprise solution. As the first dedicated engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical framework and supporting the CTO in crucial architectural decisions.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize the multi-agent orchestration system
- Implement enhancements to reduce response latency
- Develop robust prompt management systems
- Create retrieval-augmented generation systems for context-aware responses
- Develop APIs for integrating AI functionalities with the frontend
- Establish code review practices and document architectural decisions
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of production Python experience
- Experience with LLM APIs
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and workflows
- API development experience (FastAPI or similar)
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills
- Familiarity with RAG systems and vector databases
- Real-time implementation experience
- TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge
