Seurat Technologies is seeking an Electro-Optical Engineer to serve as a key link among various teams focused on high-power laser testing and 3D printing processes. The role involves troubleshooting and supporting complex systems, as well as developing CAD models and standard operating procedures in a cleanroom environment.

What you'll do

  • Conduct tests and generate reports on high-power laser platforms
  • Characterize device performance and manage backup device inventory
  • Create and maintain CAD drawings and procedural documentation for Light Valves
  • Resolve issues for cleanroom technicians and oversee daily quality inspections
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues in 3D printers with process engineering
  • Assist with installation and calibration of electro-optic devices

What they're looking for

  • Experience in electro-optical or laser systems manufacturing
  • Hands-on cleanroom experience with sensitive optics
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD software
  • Knowledge in executing design of experiments (DOEs)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams
  • Familiarity with data tracking systems
  • Experience with liquid crystal devices or semiconductor wafers
