Electrical Test Engineer

The Electrical Test Engineer position in Torrance, CA involves overseeing electrical qualification testing for power electronics in the aerospace and defense sectors, including EMI/EMC and environmental testing. What you'll do
- Plan and execute electrical qualification test procedures
- Develop test plans and reports per DO-160G and MIL-STD-810H
- Design and build test setups and data acquisition configurations
- Analyze EMI/EMC testing results and manage outsourced labs
- Coordinate test schedules and acceptance criteria with clients
- Identify failure modes and collaborate with engineering teams
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 2+ years in qualification or environmental testing
- Hands-on experience with DO-160 and MIL-STD-810
- Proficient in electrical test instrumentation
- Strong technical writing skills
- U.S. Person status per ITAR
- Ability to travel internationally
- Familiarity with power electronics and EMI/EMC testing
