About this role
Lightspeed Systems is seeking a Strategic Solutions Engineer to support K–12 school districts by bridging technical expertise with strategic sales. This role involves leading technical engagements, ensuring effective product implementations, and fostering relationships with executive stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead pre-sales technical engagements and product demonstrations.
- Design and deliver proofs of concept for complex sales cycles.
- Conduct high-level technical discussions with district executives.
- Manage product implementation and configuration for strategic accounts.
- Communicate proactively with customers during implementation.
- Provide training to district IT staff to enhance product adoption.

- 5+ years in Solutions Engineering or pre-sales roles
- Experience with software installation on multiple platforms
- Knowledge of endpoint management tools like SCCM and Intune
- Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting

- Strong consultative and influencing skills
