About this role
Base is looking for a Thermal Design Engineer to develop and manage thermal solutions for high-power-density electronic systems. The role requires a strong foundation in heat transfer principles, hands-on testing, and collaboration with mechanical engineers to create effective cooling designs.
What you'll do
- Design thermal architecture for high-power systems
- Lead air cooling and heat sink designs
- Utilize CFD and thermal FEA for analysis
- Select and test fans and pumps for performance and noise
- Implement active cooling solutions as needed
- Create test setups for thermal performance validation

- Expertise in heat transfer principles
- Proficient in thermodynamics and psychrometrics
