About this role
Robinhood is seeking an Android Engineer to join their fast-moving team in Menlo Park and help build the mobile platform for their financial services application. You'll work across multiple teams (Acquisition, Equities, or International Brokerage) developing high-quality Android features using modern technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
What you'll do
- Develop Android features from design through launch using Kotlin and latest Android APIs
- Own feature development across the full lifecycle with cross-functional collaboration
- Build consumer-grade mobile applications at scale with attention to code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Developers, and Data teams
- Improve the Robinhood app codebase and ensure high quality standards for all users

- Android development (3+ years professional experience)
- Kotlin and Java
- Jetpack Compose
- MVVM architecture
- Coroutines & Flow (or RxJava)
- Retrofit and Room
- Strong product sense and cross-functional collaboration
